About me
Confidently Spanish: a project that unites life, learning and connection
Confidently Spanish was born from a combination of circumstances and decisions that led me to where I am now and where I want to be. It reflects my way of understanding life: living slowly, in connection with nature, the sea, and myself.
The egg or the chicken
Did I start teaching Spanish to foreigners so I could live the life I wanted, or did I want to live a certain way and look for a career that would allow me to do so?
It all started when I went to live on an island, Lanzarote. There I realised that I was living too fast, disconnected from nature and from myself. I learned to live slowly, to enjoy the outdoors and the sea, and I understood that this was my rhythm.
When I returned, I decided that I didn’t want to live in the city or be surrounded by asphalt. My place was in small, quiet places near the sea. After years of work and stress, I experienced a burnout and realised I needed to rethink my life.
During that time, a friend suggested that I try teaching Spanish. She told me that I was articulate, patient, empathetic, and naturally good at connecting with people. That’s how I began helping foreigners not only to learn my language, but also to discover my culture, the society I live in, our history, and our way of being.

When and how was Confidently Spanish born?
I fell in love. After a few months of teaching Spanish on a platform, I discovered that I loved it.
Talking closely with people, connecting with different cultures, creating bonds, and learning so much from those who share their time with me makes me feel most alive. This profession connects several of my passions: applying psychology to teaching, guiding and supporting people in their learning process, sharing experiences, and doing it all with lots of love.

With time, I realised this was my path. It gives me the flexibility to live where I want and the life I had long decided to lead. So I took the leap, believed in myself, and created my own project, surrounded by professionals who share my vision and values.
Confidently Spanish was born from that journey and from the desire to convey trust, closeness, and professionalism. Learning Spanish with me is not only about acquiring knowledge: it’s about connecting, enjoying, and taking a little piece of me with you.
Or better yet, that a little piece of you be Spanish forever.
A project that grows with other women
From the very beginning, Confidently Spanish has been a shared project. I surrounded myself with like-minded professionals who share my values and principles, and who guided and supported me in shaping my dream. Their professional and emotional support was essential in making it a reality.
I’ve always believed that you can’t do it alone, that everything is better with friends and colleagues, and that the best way forward is to take steady, confident steps together. That’s why this project was built through collaboration, trust, and mutual respect, with the purpose of growing together and continuing to learn every day.
